The Florida Technology Council (FTC) announces that Cyndy Loomis is joining the organization as its Chief Operations Officer on June 10, 2018. The FTC, a 501(c)(6), is the only statewide association focused exclusively on the needs and priorities of Florida's technology sector. It is also one of the driving forces behind Florida becoming the fastest growing technology leader in the nation.
As former CEO of ISF, Inc., Cyndy brings decades of information technology experience to the FTC. Under her leadership at ISF, revenues doubled and profits tripled. She was able to lead the firm’s Austin expansion, transform ISF into a national provider of IT and management consulting services, and shape a new firm (WiredPeople) to address Florida’s unique staffing needs.
On joining the FTC, Cyndy shared, “I’m excited to move into the non-profit world after 29 years at ISF, Inc. My passion is to grow private and non-profit firms in ways that add value to our state and our community. I am tremendously proud of my accomplishments at ISF and look forward to bringing my skills and experience from the corporate world to the FTC.”
Jim Taylor, FTC Executive Director, commented, “As FTC continues to shape our statewide mission, Cyndy’s expertise and leadership will add strength to the organization. ISF is the perfect example of how FTC helps our members grow their firms through peer-to-peer business relationships. ”
FTC’s mission is to further the advancement of technology in Florida through leadership, education, legislation, and social action. For more information visit http://fltechcouncil.org.
