Nov 17, 2017

The Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) has launched a new endorsed program, offering special pricing to members for secure, and compliant information technology services. FICPA is working in cooperation with Coaxis International (Coaxis), an experienced provider of managed data hosting (cloud computing) solutions.

Coaxis provides CPA Firms with a fully-hosted and managed network solution designed to remove the complexities of federal and industry compliances, curb the demands of information technology infrastructure, and greatly minimize the threat of cybercrime.  The Coaxis team has extensive experience in hosting and supporting a broad range of tax and financial reporting software applications. A Florida corporation since 2002, Coaxis operates a privately owned, single-tenant, Tier 4 Data Center in Tallahassee, Florida.

The Coaxis CPA program provides secure, fully managed data hosting services, smartly packaged and includes the following:

  • QuickBooks Hosting – Intuit Authorized Provider.
  • Sage Accounting – Authorized Provider.
  • Hosting and Tech Support for Major Financial Software – Thomson Reuters (CS Professional Suite), Wolters Kluwer (CCH Solutions), Drake Software and others.
  • Compliant with GLBA, SOC 1 and 2, HIPAA, and CJIS
  • Secure Remote Access
  • Data Backup

"One of the core values for the FICPA is to foster collaboration through trusted relationships. As an organization, we maintain a commitment to provide the most pertinent information and resources that enable CPAs to enhance the quality of their services. As such, we are pleased to offer our most recent endorsed program for information technology with Coaxis." – Deborah Curry, CEO, FICPA.
