TALLAHASSEE — Gov. Rick Scott appointed Vivian Myrtetus as CEO of Volunteer Florida, a service organization, his office announced Friday. She succeeds Chester Spellman, who is joining AmeriCorps as its director.

Symantec Bolsters Mobile Security with Skycure Acquisition

Symantec makes its' second acquisition in two weeks, adding critical mobile operating system security capabilities, including Apple IOS.
Symantec today announced that it is acquiring privately-held mobile security vendor Skycure. Financial terms of the deal are not being publicly disclosed. Skycure had raised approximately $27.5 million in venture funding, since the company was founded in 2012.
